Shawnee Smith (born July 3 1970, weighing 5 inches' 3 is an American TV and film actress and musician. Smith is best known for her portrayals in the roles of Amanda Young in the Saw films as well as Linda in the CBS comedy Becker. Smith was the frontwoman of FydollaHo, an metalband with which she toured across both and the United States of America and Great Britain. Smith and Missi Pyle form the half of Smith & Pyle the group of Desert Country-Rock. Shawnee Smith is the daughter of Jim Smith, a former US Air Force Pilot and financial planner, who also worked as an oncology nurse. Her birthplace was Orangeburg South Carolina. In Van Nuys, California the Smith family moved there when the baby was only a few months old. Their parents split at the age of two. Her mother got married at age 8. She was a student at Ranchito Avenue Primary School in Panorama City Los Angeles as and Madison Jr. High, in North Hollywood.
